Voormalige, uit 1744 daterende Mortelkazerne: fors, in schoon metselwerk opgetrokken pand met twee verdiepingen op rechthoekige plattegrond; kap in 1913 door brand verwoest: gevels afgesloten met uitkragende bakstenen lijst en goot op klossen; lage rechtgesloten deuren; twaalf-ruits ramen in diepe getoogde vensters; grijs geverfde rechthoekige kaders rond vensters en deuren; ingemetselde, hardstenen eerste steen met tekst en jaartal 1744.

Former Mortar Barracks dating from 1744: substantial building constructed in fine brickwork with two storeys on rectangular ground plan; roof destroyed by fire in 1913: facades terminated with projecting brick moulding and gutter on blocks; low closed doors; twelve-pane windows in deep arched recesses; grey-painted rectangular frames around windows and doors; built-in hard stone foundation stone with text and date 1744.
