Voormalig Roomsch Weeshuis. Gevestigd in het voormalige Hof van Zevenbergen (XVI A), in 1662 en 1695 verbouwd en in 1778 tot weeshuis ingericht, waartoe opnieuw verbouwd en vereenvoudigd: trapgevels der hoekpaviljoens gesloopt, middendeel verhoogd. Kelder met vlakke kruisgewelven. Gerestaureerd in 1991-92.
Zijgevels met zadeldaktrappen; aan de achterzijde van de grote zaal veelhoekige traptoren; de Gotiserende sleutelstukken in de grote zaal zijn produkt van de restauratie van 1991-92. Twee bogen aan de binnenplaats hoogstwaarschijnlijk afkomstig van het bordes van het voormalige stadhuis (1533) en later van nieuwe sluitstenen voorzien. Bij de restauratie van 1991-92 met een derde boog aangevuld.
In de rechter achtervleugel fijn gesneden 17e-eeuwse sleutelstukken met acanthusbladeren. Vele regentenportretten.

Description
Former Roman Catholic Orphanage. Established in the former Hof van Zevenbergen (XVI A), renovated in 1662 and 1695 and converted into an orphanage in 1778, for which it was renovated anew and simplified: stepped gables of the corner pavilions demolished, middle section raised. Cellar with flat cross vaults. Restored in 1991-92.
Side facades with gabled roof steps; on the rear side of the great hall polygonal stair towers; the Gothicizing keystones in the great hall are products of the 1991-92 restoration. Two arches on the courtyard most probably originating from the steps of the former town hall (1533) and later provided with new keystones. During the 1991-92 restoration supplemented with a third arch.
In the right rear wing finely carved 17th-century keystones with acanthus leaves. Many portraits of regents.
