Omschrijving
Hervormde Kerk en toren op kerkhof. In aanleg laatgotisch gebouw waarvan de koorsluiting en zuidmuur in de tweede helft van de negentiende eeuw vernieuwd of bemetseld zijn. Zware westtoren met nissengeleding in de tweede en derde geleding en gedekt door zadeldak. Aan de zuidelijke cartouche met wapen Sminia herinnerend aan herstel van de kerk in 1743. De kap is echter reeds in 1726 vernieuwd. In de kerk mooie zeventiende-eeuwse preekstoel met achterschot en klankbord. Gesloten doophek en twee overhuifde herenbanken. Avondmaalstafel. Lambrisering. Twee banken met balusterleuning; veertig banken met gesneden eindstukken, twee tekstborden met gesneden omlijsting; tiengebodenbord met geschilderde voorstelling van Mozes met de Tafelen der wet in gesneden omlijsting. Drie koperen kronen. Tweeklaviers orgel in 1911 door Bakker en Timmenga gemaakt in plaats van het Radersma-orgel dat werd overgeplaatst naar de Hervormde Kerk te Metslawier. Klokkenstoel met gelui van twee klokken, waarvan één van T. Both, 1590, diameter 125 centimeter en één van H. Falck, 1620, diameter 115 centimeter. Mechanisch torenuurwerk D. Wielinga, Franeker, 1922, is buiten gebruik gesteld.

Description
Reformed Church and tower on a churchyard. In its layout a late Gothic building of which the choir closure and south wall have been renewed or repointed in the second half of the nineteenth century. Heavy west tower with niche divisions in the second and third sections and covered by a gabled roof. On the south side a cartouche with the coat of arms Sminia recalling repair of the church in 1743. The roof was however already renewed in 1726. In the church a beautiful seventeenth-century pulpit with back panel and sounding board. Closed font screen and two canopied gentlemen's pews. Communion table. Wainscoting. Two benches with baluster railings; forty benches with carved end pieces, two text boards with carved framing; Ten Commandments board with painted representation of Moses with the Tables of the Law in carved framing. Three brass crowns. Two-manual organ made in 1911 by Bakker and Timmenga in place of the Radersma organ which was moved to the Reformed Church at Metslawier. Bell frame with ring of two bells, one by T. Both, 1590, diameter 125 centimetres and one by H. Falck, 1620, diameter 115 centimetres. Mechanical tower clock D. Wielinga, Franeker, 1922, has been put out of service.
