Uit 1822 daterende, ronde, bakstenen VUURTOREN naar ontwerp van J.Valk. De toren is 13.30 m. hoog, is creme-kleurig geschilderd en heeft 2 verdiepingen. Rond het ijzeren lichthuis met koperen koepel bevindt zich een gietijzeren omloop met balustrade, welke rust op opengewerkte gietijzeren consoles. De toren is in 1901 ingrijpend verbouwd en in 1961 tot boven de ingang betegeld. In de toren een aantal ronde vensteropeningen.

Description
Dating from 1822, round brick LIGHTHOUSE according to designs by J. Valk. The tower is 13.30 m. high, is painted cream-coloured and has 2 storeys. Around the iron lantern room with copper dome is a cast-iron gallery with balustrade, which rests on open-worked cast-iron brackets. The tower was substantially rebuilt in 1901 and in 1961 was tiled up to above the entrance. In the tower a number of round window openings.
