Omschrijving
Herv. KERK en TOREN op omheind met bomen beplant kerkhof. Ruim kerkgebouw bestaand uit een dertiende eeuws romano-gotisch schip met jonger koor, noordbeuk en sacristie geheel overwelfd. In de kerk rijk met snijwerk versierde preekstoel met achterschot ter weerszijden van muurpijler (dubbel) klankbord en trap; doophek met snijwerk, doopbank; koorafsluiting met hoog gestoelte en banken ervoor; orgel in gesneden kas met rugpositief en balustrade, in 1701 gemaakt door Arp Schnitger. Onder orgel 4 rijen banken met "chapelet"-lijsten. Vier rouwkassen. Alberda. 12 Koperen wandarmen. Groot aantal gebeeldhouwde zerken, waarvan de oudste uit 1560 met koperen cartouche (uitgenomen en in sacristie opgehangen). Deels tufstenen toren, waarin mechanisch torenuurwerk gemaakt door W.J. Koek, Midwolda, circa 1900.

Description
Reformed CHURCH and TOWER on enclosed churchyard planted with trees. Spacious church building consisting of a thirteenth-century Romanesque-Gothic nave with later choir, north aisle and sacristy all fully vaulted. In the church a richly carved pulpit decorated with carving and backrest on either side of a wall pillar (double) sounding board and stairs; baptismal gate with carved work, baptismal bench; choir enclosure with high seating and benches in front; organ in carved case with ruckpositiv and balustrade, made in 1701 by Arp Schnitger. Under the organ 4 rows of benches with "chapelet" lines. Four mourning cases. Alberda. 12 Copper wall arms. Large number of sculptured gravestones, the oldest from 1560 with copper cartouche (removed and hung in sacristy). Partly tuff-stone tower, in which a mechanical tower clock made by W.J. Koek, Midwolda, circa 1900.
