Vrijstaande VILLA, gebouwd 1904-06 door Ed.Cuypers, op onregelmatige grondslag, met bel-etage en verdieping onder een door voluten bekroonde kap, samengesteld uit een schilddak en zadeldaken met dakkapellen en oculus, in een enigszins op de Engelse 19e eeuwse landhuisstijl geinspireerde trant. Opgetrokken in baksteen, op natuurstenen sokkel, vakwerk in de zolderverdieping; vensterdorpels in natuursteen. Met natuursteen beklede ingangspartij met rondboog - waarin reliëf met bladmotief - boven een hoge stoep met smeedijzeren leuningen. Aan linkerzijgevel een grote serre met zijbalkon. Op rechterhoek een hoogopgaande schoorsteen met opengewerkte top. Houten veranda's. Rondom een smeedijzeren tuinhek met natuurstenen sokkel en steunen van afwisselend natuur- en baksteen.

Description
Detached VILLA, built 1904-06 by Ed.Cuypers, on irregular ground plan, with mezzanine and storey under a roof crowned by volutes, composed of a hipped roof and gabled roofs with roof dormers and oculus, in a style somewhat inspired by English 19th century country house style. Constructed in brick, on natural stone base, half-timbering in the attic storey; window sills in natural stone. Entrance section clad in natural stone with arched opening - containing relief with foliate motif - above a high step with wrought-iron railings. On the left side facade a large conservatory with side balcony. On the right corner a tall chimney stack with open-worked top. Wooden verandas. All around a wrought-iron garden fence with natural stone base and supports of alternating natural stone and brick.
