Bakenesserkerk, voorheen aan O.L. Vrouwe gewijd, thans Ned. Herv. Kerk. Ter plaatse van de oude grafelijke kapel. Hoofdbeuk en torenromp eind 15e eeuw, rijke zandstenen bekroning van de toren pl.m. 1520. Noorderzijbeuk omtrent 1620 hersteld en in 1639 vernieuwd. Poorten in trant Lieven de Key, waarvan een gedateerd 1620. 1933/1934 gerestaureerd. Fraai interieur drie portalen begin 17e eeuw, rococo orgel en koperen kronen onder de gewelfribben van koorsluiting, laatgotische evangelistenbeelden. Klokkenspel, waarvan 24 klokken van F. en P. Hemony 1660/70. Uurwerk 1663, speeltrommel Eijsbouts 1914. Luidklok F. Hemony 1660.

Description
Bakenesserkerk, formerly dedicated to Our Lady, now Dutch Reformed Church. On the site of the old comital chapel. Main nave and tower stump late 15th century, rich sandstone crown of the tower circa 1520. North side aisle restored around 1620 and renewed in 1639. Gates in the style of Lieven de Key, one of which dated 1620. Restored 1933/1934. Fine interior with three portals early 17th century, rococo organ and copper crowns beneath the vault ribs of the choir closure, late Gothic evangelist figures. Carillon, of which 24 bells by F. and P. Hemony 1660/70. Clockwork 1663, music barrel Eijsbouts 1914. Tolling bell F. Hemony 1660.
