Omschrijving
BUURKERK vermeld 1131, oorspronkelijk kruiskerk met ingebouwde W.toren, thans 7 schepige bakstenen hallenkerk waarvan koor in 1586 gesloopt werd. Oorspronkelijk orgel met Hoofdwerk, Zwelwerk en vrij Pedaal, in 1882 gemaakt door J.F. Witte. Bij de restauratie in 1984 werd het orgel uitgebreid met een Zijwerk, ten dele gemaakt van Witte-onderdelen van elders. Klokkenstoel met vijfgelui bestaande uit een klok van S. Butendiic, 1471, 165,5 cm, twee klokken van J. Tolhuys, 1534 en 1556, diam. resp. 152 en 120 cm, en een klok van A. van de Borch, 1559, diam. 127,5 cm. Klokkenstoel bezit nog diverse sporen en onderdelen van steltlagering.

Description
BUURKERK mentioned 1131, originally a cross church with built-in W. tower, now a 7-aisled brick hall church of which the choir was demolished in 1586. Original organ with Main manual, Swell manual and free Pedal, made in 1882 by J.F. Witte. During the restoration in 1984 the organ was extended with a Choir manual, partly made from Witte components from elsewhere. Bell frame with five bells consisting of a bell by S. Butendiic, 1471, 165.5 cm, two bells by J. Tolhuys, 1534 and 1556, diam. respectively 152 and 120 cm, and a bell by A. van de Borch, 1559, diam. 127.5 cm. The bell frame still possesses various traces and components of bearing supports.
