EERTIJDS VERBLIJF VAN DE STATEN VAN HOLLAND, in de jaren 1652-1657 gebouwd naar de plannen van Pieter Post, thans in gebruik bij de Eerste Kamer der Staten-Generaal; de vergaderzaal bevat een rijk beschilderd houten gewelf en twee monumentale schoorstenen; de oude vergaderzaal, thans koffiekamer, heeft een cassettenplafond, gesteund door vier zandstenen kolommen uit het midden van de 17e eeuw.

Description
FORMERLY RESIDENCE OF THE STATES OF HOLLAND, built in the years 1652-1657 after the plans of Pieter Post, now in use by the First Chamber of the States-General; the assembly hall contains a richly painted wooden barrel vault and two monumental fireplaces; the old assembly hall, now coffee room, has a coffered ceiling, supported by four sandstone columns from the mid-17th century.
