Omschrijving
Huis "Dit is in Bethlehem", gedateerd 1566. Zeer rijke renaissance-topgevel met gezwenkte rolwerkcontouren in Vredeman de Vries-stijl. De verdiepingen worden door geprofileerde waterlijsten gescheiden. Pui van aan vernieuwing gelijkstaande restauratie door arch. Mulder (1910). Gevelsteen boven de puibalk.
Onder de eerste verdieping een gebeeldhouwd fries met strijdende ruiters. De geblokte ontlastingsbogen boven de vensters worden in de eerste verdieping door maskerconsoles en in de tweede en de zolderverdieping door hermen gedragen.
Binnen de ontlastingsbogen cartouche-ornament en koppen. Onder de topvoluten gebeeldhouwde koppen en ramsfiguurtjes. Hoekblokken, sierankers.

Description
House "Dit is in Bethlehem", dated 1566. Very richly decorated renaissance stepped gable with scrolled ornamental contours in Vredeman de Vries style. The storeys are separated by moulded drip mouldings. Facade front of renovation equivalent to renewal by architect Mulder (1910). Stone tablet above the facade beam.
Below the first storey a sculptured frieze with battling riders. The blocked relieving arches above the windows are borne in the first storey by mask consoles and in the second and attic storey by herms.
Within the relieving arches cartouche ornament and heads. Below the gable scrolls sculptured heads and ram figurines. Corner blocks, ornamental wall anchors.
