Omschrijving
Voormalig wachthuis aan de Linge, reeds genoemd in 1586 en oorspronkelijk opgenomen binnen het bolwerk Roodenborch. Door de nieuwe omwalling in 1586 binnen de stadsbevestiging gebracht.
Gebouw uit omstreeks 1500, onder hoog pannen zadeldak. In de gevel twee getoogde poortjes, vensters met middenstijlen en een hijsluik.

Description
Former guardhouse on the Linge, already mentioned in 1586 and originally included within the bulwark Roodenborch. Brought within the town defences by the new rampart in 1586.
Building from circa 1500, under high tiled gabled roof. In the facade two arched small gates, windows with mullions and a hoist opening.
