Omschrijving
HERV. KERK.
Grote, laat-gotische dorpskerk met driebeukig, pseudobasilicaal schip op bakstenen zuilen, waarschijnlijk tweede helft 15e eeuw; rijzig, eenbeukig, driezijdig gesloten koor, in de tegenwoordige vorm uit het tweede kwart der 16e eeuw en aan de zuidzijde een door een graatgewelf overkluisde sacristie. Schip en zijbeuken bezitten houten tongewelven met trekbalken; het koor heeft kruisribgewelven op gebeeldhouwde kraagstenen.
Rechthoekige doopkapel ten zuiden van de toren (apart monumentnummer 16522). Tot de inventaris der kerk behoren: een preekstoel met doophek, twee herenbanken met overhuiving en een Gebodenbord, alles 17e eeuw.
Lezenaar op de preekstoel, 1711, zandloperhouder en doopbekkenhouder.
Kroon, 1788 en twee wandarmen. Als voet voor de preekstoel dient een laat-gotische doopvont. In de doopkapel een 16e eeuwse muurschildering, voorstellend de Doop van Christus. Orgel met Hoofdwerk en Nevenwerk, in 1887 door P. Flaes gemaakt. Gerestaureerd in 1981 door Flentrop Orgelbouw.

Description
REFORMED CHURCH.
Large, late-Gothic parish church with three-aisled, pseudo-basilical nave on brick columns, probably second half of the 15th century; lofty, single-aisled, three-sided closed choir, in its present form from the second quarter of the 16th century and on the south side a sacristy covered by a groin vault. Nave and side aisles have wooden barrel vaults with tie beams; the choir has cross-ribbed vaults on carved corbels.
Rectangular baptismal chapel to the south of the tower (separate national monument number 16522). The church inventory includes: a pulpit with baptismal font enclosure, two gentleman's benches with canopy and a Commandments board, all 17th century.
Lectern on the pulpit, 1711, hourglass holder and font holder.
Crown, 1788 and two wall arms. A late-Gothic baptismal font serves as the base for the pulpit. In the baptismal chapel a 16th-century wall painting depicting the Baptism of Christ. Organ with Great Work and Positive Work, made in 1887 by P. Flaes. Restored in 1981 by Flentrop Orgelbouw.
