Omschrijving
Voormalig dorpscafé, herberg en rechthuis. Evenwijdig aan de straat gelegen eenlaags dwarspand met kap, van 16e eeuwse oorsprong, Het exterieur heeft thans een 19e eeuws karakter. Onder de pleisterlaag bevinden zich ondermeer ijsselsteen en kloostermoppen die duiden op een veel hogere ouderdom. Het pand is voorzien grote zesruitsschuifvensters en een dubbele voordeur in klassieke omlijsting met pilasters en kroonlijst. In de achtergevel bevinden zich schuifvensters met hardstenen onderdorpels. De haakse uitbouw rechts achter is voorzien van tuitgevels met vlechtingen. In het interieur een grote open ruimte met haardpartij van forse omvang, voorzien van zandstenen zijwangen in Hollandse Renaissance-stijl. In de aanpalende, deels onderkelderde ruimte restanten van een tweede haard. Zware moerbalken met consoles met ojiefprofielen, en kinderbinten. Delen van oudere kapconstructie aanwezig. Tevens zijn er binnenluiken bewaard gebleven.

Description
Former village cafe, inn and courthouse. Situated parallel to the street, a single-storey transverse building with roof truss structure, of 16th-century origin. The exterior now has a 19th-century character. Beneath the plaster layer are found among other things IJsselsteen and cloister bricks indicating a much greater age. The building is provided with large six-pane sash windows and a double entrance door in classical moulding with pilasters and cornice. In the rear facade are sash windows with stone lintels. The right-hand angular extension is provided with spout gables with wattle. In the interior a large open space with a substantial hearth, provided with sandstone side jambs in the Dutch Renaissance style. In the adjoining, partly vaulted space, remains of a second hearth. Heavy tie beams with consoles with ogee profiles, and collar ties. Parts of older roof truss structure are present. Interior shutters have also been preserved.
