Toren Ned.Herv.Kerk. Hoog bouwwerk, van een voor het eiland Zuid Beveland enigszins afwijkend type. Baksteen met royaal gebruik van natuursteen voor hoekblokken, balustrades, en dergelijke. Overhoekse steunberen, in de terugspringende derde geleding overgaand in haakse. Balustrade ingesnoerde achtzijdige spits met peerbekroning. De toren vermoedelijk omstreeks 1494 grotendeels voltooid, blijkens een memoriesteen aan de noordzijde. Klokkenstoel met gelui bestaande uit een klok van Michiel Burgerhuys, 1633, diam. 113 cm en twee moderne klokken.

Description
Tower of the Dutch Reformed Church. Tall building, of a type somewhat unusual for the island of South Beveland. Brick with generous use of natural stone for corner blocks, balustrades, and the like. Diagonal buttresses, in the recessed third stage passing into right-angled. Balustrade constricted eight-sided spire with pear-shaped finial. The tower presumably largely completed around 1494, according to a memorial stone on the north side. Bell frame with bells consisting of a bell by Michiel Burgerhuys, 1633, diameter 113 cm and two modern bells.
