Omschrijving
Uit ca.1840 daterende houtloods, bestaande uit langgerekt zuidelijk deel met verdiep en korter noordelijk deel met verdieping, beide onder met blauwe Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak tegen puntgevels met geveltekens; het meest zuidelijk gedeelte heeft op de begane grond in baksteen opgetrokken, witgeverfde gevels voorzien van vensters en deur met 6-ruits bovenlicht, van getoogde 8-ruits stalvensters en van dubbele deur met getoogd 14-ruits bovenlicht; voor het overige bestaan de gevels boven de bakstenen plinten uit (wit) geverfde gepotdekselde delen met reeksen deuren en luiken.
Deze houtloods vormt tesamen met de tegenoverliggende een gaaf, vrij vroeg en sprekend voorbeeld van de schaalvergroting, die zich vanaf de 19e eeuw in handel en nijverheid heeft voltrokken.

Description
Timber warehouse dating from approximately 1840, consisting of elongated southern part with upper storey and shorter northern part with upper storey, both under blue Dutch tile gabled roof against pointed gables with gable marks; the most southern part has on the ground floor facades in brick, painted white, provided with windows and door with 6-pane fanlight, with relieving arch 8-pane stable windows and double door with relieved arch 14-pane fanlight; otherwise the facades above the brick plinths consist of (white) painted half-tiled parts with series of doors and shutters.
This timber warehouse together with the opposite one forms a well-preserved, fairly early and striking example of the scale enlargement that took place in trade and industry from the 19th century onwards.
