Fors, laat 19e eeuws woonhuis met verdieping onder met blauwe Friese pannen gedekt mansardedak en met een insteekkap daarop aansluitend aan de achterzijde en trapsgewijs aflopend drie bouwblokjes onder met rode Hollandse pannen gedekte zadeldaken, die weer aansluiten bij de vakwerkschuur, die de gezamenlijke binnenplaats van Marcellienstraat 18 en 20 aan de achterzijde afsluit.
De voorgevel is wit gepleisterd met horizontale voegen boven de plint, met cordonlijsten en in lijstwerk aangegeven hoekpilasters, heeft met een segmentboog afgesloten deur en lichtgetoogde vensters met T-ramen (totaal 9), die een rechthoekige geprofileerde omlijsting hebben met daarboven een segmentboogfronton, waarin een waaiermotief; boven de goot op klossen vier dakkapellen met T-ramen.

Description
Substantial, late 19th century residential building with storey covered with blue Frisian tiles, mansard roof and with an inset roof dormer attached thereto on the rear side and stepped down on three building blocks with red Dutch tiles covered gabled roofs, which in turn connect with the timber-framed barn, which closes off the shared courtyard of Marcellienstraat 18 and 20 on the rear side.
The front facade is white plastered with horizontal joints above the plinth, with string courses and in moulded work indicated corner pilasters, has a door terminated by a segment arch and lightly arched windows with T-frames (total 9), which have a rectangular moulded surround with above it a segment arch pediment, in which a fan motif; above the gutter on corbels four roof dormers with T-frames.
