Omschrijving
Hoeve 'de Kroondert', grote T-boerderij uit ca 1850 ligt op een hoek tussen twee oude wegen die vanuit de dorpskern van Dreumel naar het noorden en oosten lopen. De boerderij ligt op een ruim erf waarop diverse fruitbomen. De boerderij ligt met zijn voorgevel gericht op de Vluchtheuvelstraat. De boerderij is opgetrokken uit baksteen onder een met riet gedekt schilddak met schoorstenen en bestaat uit een woongedeelte en een stalgedeelte. Het woongedeelte heeft een lage verdieping, een dubbele gesneden deur en vensters met luiken. Aan de oostelijke gevel is ca 1900 een serre aangebouwd, uitgevoerd in hout onder een plat dak. Het stalgedeelte heeft een houten gebintconstructie en aan de achterzijde een groot overstek voor wagens. In de stal is de oorspronkelijke indeling nog goed herkenbaar. Aan de oostzijde van de stal is de muur gedeeltelijk vernieuwd circa 1900; in die periode is over een lengte van ca 5 meter de stalmuur verhoogd ten behoeve van een bijkeuken. Ook is in die periode een muur gebouwd, haaks op de oostelijke muur. Deze muur verbond een bestaande schuur met de boerderij. Die schuur is een wagenschuur op rechthoekige plattegrond en is opgetrokken uit baksteen onder met pannen gedekt zadeldak. In de gevels diverse rondboogvensters in gietijzer uitgevoerd. De top van de gevel is ca 1900 vervangen en de dakrand afgewerkt met een gesneden windveer. Haaks op deze oudere wagenschuur is een kleine schuur gebouwd, verbonden door een grote opening in de noordgevel van de oudere schuur. De nieuwe schuur is eveneens ca 1900 gebouwd en is opgetrokken in baksteen en een met pannen gedekt zadeldak. Ook hier een gesneden windveer. Boerderij met aangebouwde schuren wordt omgeven door een muur die gedeeltelijk samenvalt met de achterkant van de oude schuur en de zijgevel van de nieuwere schuur. In de ommuring is aan de voorzijde van de boerderij een toegangshek gemaakt ca 1850 bestaande uit twee houten pijlers waarop een ijzeren boog.
De boerderij met aangebouwde schuren en ommuring is van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuur-historische waarde (voorbeeld van een T-boerderij in fasen gebouwd, redelijk gaaf bewaard, bijzondere elementen uit ca 1900, bijzondere detaillering in entreehek), vanwege stedenbouwkundige waarden (beeldbepalend element).

Description
Farmhouse 'de Kroondert', large T-shaped farm from c 1850 situated on a corner between two old roads running north and east from the village centre of Dreumel. The farm sits on a spacious plot with various fruit trees. The farm is oriented with its front facade facing Vluchtheuvelstraat. The farm is built of brick under a thatched hipped roof with chimneys and consists of a residential section and a stable section. The residential section has a low storey, a double carved door and windows with shutters. On the eastern facade a conservatory was built c 1900, constructed in wood under a flat roof. The stable section has a wooden roof truss structure and on the rear side a large overhang for wagons. The original layout is still clearly recognisable in the stable. On the east side of the stable the wall was partially renewed circa 1900; in that period the stable wall was heightened over a length of approximately 5 metres for a scullery. Also in that period a wall was built, perpendicular to the eastern wall. This wall connected an existing barn to the farm. That barn is a cart-shed with rectangular plan built of brick under a tiled gabled roof. In the facades various round arch windows in cast iron. The top of the facade was replaced c 1900 and the roof edge finished with a carved wind vane. Perpendicular to this older cart-shed a small barn was built, connected by a large opening in the north facade of the older barn. The new barn was also built c 1900 and is constructed of brick with a tiled gabled roof. Here too a carved wind vane. Farm with attached barns is surrounded by a wall which partly coincides with the rear of the old barn and the side facade of the newer barn. In the enclosure a gate was made at the front of the farm c 1850 consisting of two wooden pillars with an iron arch.
The farm with attached barns and enclosure is of general importance for its architectural-historical value (example of a T-shaped farm built in phases, reasonably well preserved, special elements from c 1900, special detailing in entrance gate), for its urban planning values (image-forming element).
