Omschrijving
EVANGELISCH LUTHERSE KERK. Oorspronkelijk kerk van het Blindeliedengasthuis op de hoek van de Blindeliedengasthuisstraat. Eenvoudige, laat gotische ZAALKERK met driezijdige sluiting, lengte vijf traveeën, overdekt door een tongewelf met trekbalken, waarvan alleen die in het koor nog sleutelstukken hebben. Het gasthuis werd gesloopt in 1629; de kerk werd tot bedehuis voor de Lutherse Gemeente ingericht in 1689. Alleen het koor heeft steunberen. Gepleisterde gevels. Voorgevel (1679) met Vingboonshalsgevel, gepleisterd en gemoderniseerd in XIX. Klokkenstoel met klok van onbekende gieter, diam. 30 cm.
Inwendig: in de absis orgelkas en kansel, rijk gesneden in Lodewijk XVI stijl (1779). Tweeklaviers orgel, in 1779 gemaakt door A. Wolfferts. Koperen lezenaar en kandelaars. Twee eenvoudige koperen kroontjes. Op het koornok een gotisch smeedijzeren kruis. Orgel van A. Wolfferts 1779.
Fraai gebouw van algemeen belang wegens oudheidkundige en kunsthistorische waarde.

Description
EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH. Originally church of the Blind Paupers Poorhouse on the corner of Blindeliedengasthuisstraat. Simple, late Gothic hall church with three-sided closure, length of five bays, covered by a barrel vault with roof trusses, of which only those in the choir still have keystones. The poorhouse was demolished in 1629; the church was fitted out as a place of worship for the Lutheran community in 1689. Only the choir has buttresses. Rendered facades. Front facade (1679) with Vingboons neck gable, rendered and modernised in the 19th century. Bell tower with bell of unknown founder, diameter 30 cm.
Internally: organ case and pulpit in the apse, richly carved in Louis XVI style (1779). Two-manual organ, made in 1779 by A. Wolfferts. Brass lectern and candlesticks. Two simple brass chandeliers. On the choir screen a Gothic wrought-iron cross. Organ by A. Wolfferts 1779.
Fine building of general importance due to archaeological and art-historical value.
