Fraai gebouw van eenvoudige doch harmonische architectuur en van oudheidkundige waarde.
Zie tevens de overwegingen bij het Koninklijk besluit no 27 van 6 oktober 1971 inzake de plaatsing op de vastgestelde lijst, waarin is bepaald dat in plaats van het gehele pand slechts het voorhuis (de winkel met op de eerste en tweede verdieping een woonhuis, gelegen voor de binnenplaats) wordt geplaatst.

Fine building of simple yet harmonious architecture and of archaeological value.
