Omschrijving
HOEKPAND Wijnbrug "De Pauw". Rijk versierde renaissance trapgevel (XVII a) met houten pui (XVIII B). Dubbele pilasters met zandstenen banden; boven de vensters radiale natuurstenen strekken. Geprofileerde waterlijsten. Zeer fraai gebeeldhouwde consoles met maskers boven de puibalk. Voluten tegen de trappen. Tegen de zijgevel uitgekraagde schoorsteen met kraagstenen, waarop 1618.
Inwendig: balkenzolder met gesneden sleutelstukken, waarop maskers, deels bij de restauratie van elders aangebracht.
Gerestaureerd 1961.
Fraai gebouw van algemeen belang wegens bijzondere oudheidkundige en kunsthistorische waarde.

Description
CORNER BUILDING Wijnbrug "De Pauw". Richly decorated Renaissance stepped gable (XVII a) with wooden shop front (XVIII B). Double pilasters with sandstone bands; above the windows radial natural stone courses. Profiled drip mouldings. Very finely carved consoles with masks above the shop front beam. Volutes against the gable steps. Against the side facade a corbelled chimney with corbels, bearing the date 1618.
Interior: wooden ceiling with carved keystones, bearing masks, some applied from elsewhere during the 1961 restoration.
Restored 1961.
Fine building of general importance due to exceptional archaeological and art historical value.
