Omschrijving
Catharijnepoort. Eenvoudige POORT-doorgang tussen gebosseerde pilasters met hoofdgestel. In de poortboog sluitsteen met masker. Het fries gedateerd: anno 1652. Geheel in natuursteen uitgevoerd. Sierlijk schilddak. De landzijde, in baksteen, is zeer eenvoudig uitgevoerd.
Fraai gebouw van algemeen belang wegens bijzondere oudheidkundige en kunsthistorische waarde.

Description
Catharijnepoort. Simple GATE passage between bossed pilasters with entablature. In the gate arch a keystone with mask. The frieze dated: anno 1652. Entirely executed in natural stone. Elegant hipped roof. The land side, in brick, is executed very simply.
Fine building of general importance due to its exceptional archaeological and art-historical value.
