Omschrijving
St.Nicolaas, 1885-1887, J.D. van der Weide. Neogotische kruisbasiliek met door haakse en overhoekse steunberen begeleide toren van twee verdiepingen met balustrade, naaldspits en pinakels. Gemetselde bundelpijlers op hardstenen basementen, kruisribgewelven. Over de kruising een stergewelf. Roosvensters in de westgevel van de toren en in de eindgevels van het transept. Gepleisterde muurvlakken, constructieve delen als schoon-werk behandeld. Neo-barokke communiebank, inmiddels verbouwd tot altaar; neogotische inrichting met uitzondering van de preekstoel nog aanwezig. Een bronzen doopvont van de Gebr. Brom uit 1933,gedragen door vier profeten. Kuip en deksel met 12 Bijbelse voorstellingen en bekroond met de voorstelling van de Doop van Christus. Orgel met Hoofdwerk en Positief, in 1871 door L. Ypma gemaakt voor de R.K. Kerk te Akersloot. Bij de overplaatsing uitgebreid met een vrij Pedaal. Mechanisch torenuurwerk B. Eijsbouts, Asten, 1925, nr. 871, later voorzien van electrische opwinding.

St. Nicholas, 1885-1887, J.D. van der Weide. Neo-Gothic cross basilica with tower of two storeys with balustrade, spire and pinnacles accompanied by parallel and diagonal buttresses. Masonry bundle pillars on sandstone bases, cross-rib vaults. Over the crossing a star vault. Rose windows in the west facade of the tower and in the end gables of the transept. Plastered wall surfaces, structural elements treated as ashlar work. Neo-baroque communion bench, now converted into altar; neo-Gothic interior except for the pulpit still present. A bronze baptismal font by Gebr. Brom from 1933, supported by four prophets. Basin and cover with 12 biblical scenes and crowned with the representation of the Baptism of Christ. Organ with Hauptwerk and Positif, made in 1871 by L. Ypma for the R.C. Church at Akersloot. At the relocation expanded with a free Pedal. Mechanical tower clock B. Eijsbouts, Asten, 1925, no. 871, later provided with electric winding.
