Omschrijving
Pand bestaande uit eenlaags voorhuis en smaller, ingekort achterhuis met verdieping. Onder een deel van het voorhuis bevindt zich een kelder met troggewelven op gordelbogen, onder het achterhuis een tongewelf. De gepleisterde trap(voor)gevel draagt ankers in de vorm van het jaartal 1689 en een gevelsteen met een kat en het onderschrift: "D'SWARTE CAT". De treden zijn gedekt met geprofileerde, natuurstenen platen; de klokvormige bekroning met natuurstenen aanzetvoluten. Onderpui met twee gekoppelde schuifvensters en dubbele bedrijfsdeur; ter plaatse van de zolder twee en op vlieringniveau een schuifvenster met 2 x 2 ruiten. Aan de plaats, in de bakstenen zijgevel van het achterhuis draagt sporen van oorspronkelijke, kleine vensters met segmentbogen en bevat op de b.g. een ten dele dichtgemetseld kloostervenster. Het voorhuis heeft een 15de-eeuws casco met eiken balken en spanten, voorzien van gesneden telmerken, en hergebruikte 14de-eeuwse sporen. De tuitgevel van het achterhuis (XVIA, eiken balklagen en spanten, oudere sporen) is gebouwd over de voormalige achtergevel van het voorhuis. Op de begane grond bevinden zich achter de werkplaats aan de straat naast een doorlopende gang resp. een kantoor met schouw, een tussenruimte met bedstede en een achterkamer met schouw en kastenwand en plafond (alles ca. XIXm). In het achterhuis op de begane grond de wand van een 18de- eeuwse bedstede met panelen en een schouw met witte tegels uit dezelfde tijd. Op de verdieping bevindt zich hier een 16de-eeuwse, kleine schouw met wangen en stookvloertje en toegevoegde paarse, ornamentele tegels (XIXm). Pand met bijzondere topgevel en een ten dele onderkelderde oude structuur daterend uit de 14de t/m de 19de eeuw, opgebouwd uit een eenlaags voorhuis gekoppeld aan een achterhuis met verdieping; beide delen hebben oude vloer- en kapconstructies alsmede bijzondere interieurstukken. Pand van belang vanwege architectuur- en bouwhistorische betekenis.

Description
Building consisting of single-storey front house and narrower, shortened back house with upper storey. Beneath part of the front house is a cellar with trough vaults on belt arches, beneath the back house a barrel vault. The plastered stepped gable bears wall anchors in the form of the date 1689 and a gable stone with a cat and the inscription: "D'SWARTE CAT". The steps are covered with profiled natural stone slabs; the bell-shaped crown with natural stone scroll stones. Shop front with two coupled sash windows and double business door; on the attic level two and on the loft level one sash window with 2 x 2 panes. On the site, in the brick side gable of the back house, traces of original small windows with segmental arches and contains on the ground floor a partly bricked-up cloister window. The front house has a 15th-century frame with oak beams and roof trusses, furnished with carved carpenters' marks, and reused 14th-century traces. The spout gable of the back house (first half of the 16th century, oak beam layers and trusses, older traces) was built over the former back gable of the front house. On the ground floor, behind the workshop on the street next to a continuous corridor respectively an office with hearth, an intermediate space with bed alcove and a back room with hearth and built-in cupboard wall and ceiling (all c. mid-19th century). In the back house on the ground floor the wall of an 18th-century bed alcove with panels and a hearth with white tiles from the same period. On the upper storey here is a 16th-century small hearth with jambs and heating floor and added purple ornamental tiles (mid-19th century). Building with distinctive spout gable and a partly cellared old structure dating from the 14th to the 19th century, composed of a single-storey front house connected to a back house with upper storey; both parts have old floor and roof truss structures as well as distinctive interior features. Building of significance because of its architectural and building-historical importance.
