Herv. Kerk. Een der weinige meerbeukige kerkgebouwen van het platteland van Friesland, ontstaan door laatgotische uitbreiding van een 12e eeuws tufstenen schip met even brede, rechtgesloten zuiderbeuk, daarvan gescheiden door spitsbogige scheibogen en zware kolommen. Onder het koor gerestaureerde crypt door twee zuilen met gebeeldhouwde kapitelen in drie beuken gedeeld. Toren in 1610 vernieuwd. Aan de noordzijde 17e eeuwse ingangsomlijsting; aan de zuidzijde votiefsteentje uit 1546. Twee gebeeldhouwde zerken. Tweeklaviers orgel van Bakker en Timmenga uit 1892. Klokkestoel met klok van H. Falck, 1620, diam. 98,3 cm. Mechanisch torenuurwerk Haak, Gebr. Caminada en Dupont, Rotterdam.

Description
Reformed Church. One of the few multi-aisle rural church buildings of Friesland, created by late Gothic enlargement of a 12th century tuff-stone nave with equally wide, straight-closed south aisle, separated from it by pointed arch dividing arches and heavy columns. Beneath the choir a restored crypt divided into three aisles by two columns with carved capitals. Tower renewed in 1610. On the north side 17th century entrance moulding; on the south side small votive stone from 1546. Two carved tombstones. Two-manual organ by Bakker and Timmenga from 1892. Bell frame with bell by H. Falck, 1620, diameter 98.3 cm. Mechanical tower clock Haak, Gebr. Caminada and Dupont, Rotterdam.
