Omschrijving
Oudtijds de Refugie van de Abdij van Mariënweerd. In oorsprong laat- middeleeuws pand ter breedte van vijf vensterassen met verdieping en hoog zadeldak tussen tuitgevels, waarvan slechts de noordelijke de trappen bewaard heeft. Achter dit hoofdgebouw een parallel hieraan lopende vleugel, eveneens onder een zadeldak tussen tuitgevels. De noordelijke helft van het achterhuis is onderkelderd. De gepleisterde voorgevel heeft met de kroonlijst een vroeg 19e eeuws karakter. Deuromlijsting met verdiepte pilasters, hoofdgestel en bovenlicht. In de verdieping 12-ruitsschuiframen. 16e eeuwse muurankers. Twee dakkapellen met gemetselde zijwanden en frontons.

Description
Formerly the Refuge of the Abbey of Mariënweerd. Originally a late medieval building of five window bays wide with one storey and a high gabled roof between spout gables, of which only the northern one has retained the steps. Behind this main building a wing running parallel to it, likewise under a gabled roof between spout gables. The northern half of the rear building is vaulted. The rendered front facade has an early 19th century character with its cornice. Door surround with recessed pilasters, cornice and fanlight. On the storey, 12-pane sash windows. 16th century wall anchors. Two roof dormers with masonry side walls and pediments.
