Omschrijving
Pand met verdieping uit omstreeks 1600 op rechthoekige plattegrond. Zadeldak, dat aan de voor- en achterzijde wordt afgesloten door trapgevels, terwijl zich boven de vrijliggende zuidgevel eveneens een trapgevel bevindt. Tegen de zuid-westhoek van het pand, dat in 1959 gerestaureerd werd, een bakstenen pijler, in natuursteen gebosseerd en afgedekt met een hoofdgestel, overblijfsel van de v.m. voorpoort van de Lanxmeerpoort. Hiernaast een cilindervormige, uitgekraagd bakstenen traptorentje, eveneens van de voorpoort afkomstig. De drie trapgevels van het pand vertonen het Zuidhollandse type met waterlijsten, ontlastingsbogen met metselwerkmozaiek en sierankers. De voor- en zijtopgevel doorregen met natuurstenen banden. Onder de benedenste waterlijst van de voorgevel een getande puibalk. De onderpui is gereconstrueerd in vormen omstreeks 1800 bij de restauratie. Tegen de zijgevel een uitgekraagde erker op korbelen (XVIII) en een zestal peilstenen.

Description
Building with upper storey from circa 1600 on a rectangular ground plan. Gabled roof, which is closed on the front and rear by stepped gables, while above the exposed south facade a stepped gable also appears. Against the south-west corner of the building, which was restored in 1959, a brick pillar, rusticated in natural stone and topped with a capital, remains of the former gate tower of the Lanxmeerpoort. Beside it a cylindrical, projecting brick spiral stair tower, also from the gate tower. The three stepped gables of the building display the South Holland type with drip mouldings, relieving arches with decorative brickwork and wall anchors. The front and side stepped gables are interspersed with bands of natural stone. Below the lowest drip moulding of the front facade a dentilled corbel. The ground floor has been reconstructed in forms of circa 1800 during restoration. Against the side facade a projecting corbelled bay window (18th century) and six gauge stones.
