Omschrijving
Huis 'Vrederust'. HERENHUIS uit 1778-'92, ontstaan uit verbouwing van een 17e-eeuwse boerderij: de grote achterzaal ter plaatse van de stal, de uitgebouwde keuken ter plaatse van het oude woonhuisgedeelte. De voorgevel had tot 1910 een fronton. 1959-'60 gerestaureerd en inwendig gewijzigd, thans in gebruik bij de dienst Gemeentebeplantingen. Een deel van de oprijlaan is thans de bebouwde Vrederustlaan.

Description
House 'Vrederust'. MANSION from 1778-'92, created by alteration of a 17th-century farmhouse: the large rear room in place of the stable, the extended kitchen in place of the old residential part. The front facade had a pediment until 1910. Restored in 1959-'60 and internally altered, currently in use by the Municipal Planting Service. Part of the drive is now the built-up Vrederustlaan.
