Kasteel Stapelen. Laatmiddeleeuws omgracht gebouwencomplex, in 1857-1858 in neo-gotische stijl verbouwd door de aannemer Goyarts uit Tilburg. Poortgebouw met boogfriezen en kantelen; vleugel met trapgevels, boogfriezen en boogvensters; achtkante toren aan de oostzijde, inwendig beneden door een netgewelf overkluisd; aan de westzijde twee torens, inwendig beneden door kruisribgewelven overkluisd; driezijdig gesloten kapel aan de zuidzijde, waarin een houten altaarretabel met schilderij uit omstreeks 1600, met wapen van Horne, en 16e eeuwse houten beelden van Maria en Gabriel, voorts een houten kruisbeeld.

Description
Castle Stapelen. Late medieval moated building complex, rebuilt in 1857-1858 in neo-Gothic style by contractor Goyarts from Tilburg. Gatehouse with arch friezes and crenellations; wing with stepped gables, arch friezes and arch windows; octagonal tower on the east side, internally below covered by a net vault; on the west side two towers, internally below covered by cross-rib vaults; three-sided closed chapel on the south side, containing a wooden altarpiece with a painting from around 1600, bearing the Horne arms, and 16th century wooden figures of Mary and Gabriel, furthermore a wooden crucifix.
