The Department's description

Small single storey terraced house roughly in the centre of the W side of William Street, in the NW corner of Newtownards.

Front E facade has a right of centre timber panelled door with plain stone surround, two modern windows to the left and one to the right. Front facade rendered.

Most of the rear is taken up with an ugly lean to with modern windows, door, corrugated PVC roof, concrete brick etc. Only the extreme right hand side of the original rear of the house is visible, which is rendered with a single sash window.

The front half of the roof is covered in pan tiles whilst the rear still has its original ‘Tullycavey’ slates. Cast iron rw goods to front, PVC to rear.

A building is shown on this site on the OS Map of c.1860, but not that of 1834, thus probably dating this building to possibly c.1840.
