Exterior description and setting
Small observation post on top of a hill (to the W of the Millisle Road) overlooking the coastline, c.1 mile S of Donaghadee.The building is six sided with a flat roof and constructed in concrete and faced in concrete slabs. The E face of the building is much broader than the other faces and has two small window slots (which once had steel shutters) and a low central doorway (which once had a steel door). All the other faces have similar window slots.

This small observation post was constructed during World War II as part of Northern Ireland’s coastline defences.
