The Department's description

Plain, modern-looking single storey gabled terraced dwelling, originally two houses of c.1840, amalgamated and modernised in 1989. The property is set on the north west side of Main Street.

The gabled roof is covered in asbestos slates. Slight overhang to roof. Longish flat roofed dormer to rear. Chimney stacks removed. Facade finished in rough cast, with chamfered plinth to front. PVC rw goods.

The front (SE) elevation is asymmetrical with a left of centre timber and glazed door, with a two pane PVC window to the left and two more to the right. Three tiled steps to front door. To the far right is a recessed modern metal garage door.

SW gable blank. PVC doors and windows to rear.

According to the current owner this house, which began life as two properties, was built in 1840. The two houses were converted to one in 1989 and the property modernised.
