The Department's description

Former two storey school master’s house (‘Victoria House’), built possibly in 1887 (at the same time as the original Victoria School); demolished 1988. Site now partially occupied by new Victoria Primary School, built 1988/89.

Description from 1st Survey card. "2/sty house set back from road behind B/L of adjoining school. Roof slated with gabled ends. Shaped barges. Yellow brick chimneys. Walls rendered. 3F/FL gabled dormer D/H windows, shaped barges, S/C arch head, horizontal astragals. 2 Gr/FL similar windows but segmental arch head. Central sheeted door. S/C arch fanlight with 2 vertical astragals. Condition fair. Front about 35 feet."
