Exterior description and setting
Pair of small , one and a half storey houses of c.1903, with hipped roof half-dormers. Both dwellings are mirror images of each other differing only in window frame type and colour scheme.
The front elevation faces W. No.21 has a timber panel door with plain fanlight to right and a sash window to left. To the first floor are two windows set close within a large half-dormer with hipped slated roof. Painted brick dressings to openings. Façade finished in painted lined render. Chamfered plinth. Eaves course. No.23 is a mirror image of No.21, but with modern window frames.

To the rear of No 21 is a recent lean-to single storey extension with a door to the left and a two pane sash window to the right. To the right of the extension is a sash window with vertical astragal. To the first floor are two similar windows. The rear of No 23 is a mirror image of No.21 but the extension is flat roofed and the windows have modern frames.
The block has a gabled roof covered with Bangor blue slates and fireclay ridge tiles. Single yellow brick chimney stack with pots between both houses. Rendered chimney stack to exposed gable to N of No.23.
