Exterior description and setting

The site of this building is now vacant.

The First Survey card records:

'A folly, of brick and stone construction composed of a crenellated circular tower, wing wall and square turret. After 1833.

Ordnance maps, survey of 1832-3 and 1901-2.'

Historical information

Neither the folly nor the associated house 'Willowbrook' appear on the second edition OS map of the 1850s.
