The Department's description

Demolished and the site remains vacant.

Described in the first survey in 1971 as "A small part octagonal building with rectangular extension to rear. The walls are harled and whitened on stone, the roofs are slated. The building is now boarded up and derelict."

Precise date of building not recorded but a portion of it appears on the OS map of 1832. The date 1752 was inscribed on an adjacent gate pier. Bellmount house and its associated buildings was originally built for the Cunningham family.
