The Department's description

A former Victorian terrace of one-and-a-half and single-storey dwellings, having slated roofs, whitened and rendered walling over a contrasting plinth and timber doors with transom lights. Now demolished and replaced by modern housing.

The First Survey card records:

‘Civiltown Drumnascamph Td.

Pre 1860. Four terraces of harled and whitened houses with slated roofs stepped uphill. All single storey with exception of two at west end. Unrecessed windows vary from plain-sashed to Georgian-glazed. A number of entrance doors are sheeted with multi-paned rectangular fanlights. There is a small shop with panelled shutters. 15 units in all.
