The Department's description

An open head lever type pump with a plain undecorated column and a fluted cap. Manufactured by Lee, Howl and Co, Tipton, England. It is of the 'Paragon colonial suction' variety. Located at the north end of the lane, opposite the owner's house.

According to the current owner the pump was originally installed c 1929 by his grandfather. Further particulars in the EHS report 'Water Pumps in Northern Ireland:A Preliminary Survey by Fred Hammond, January 1997, Pump No. 29.
