Exterior description and setting
Rendered two-storey house with half-hipped roof and single storey extension set at right angles. All windows and doors are modern stained timber; windows have narrow concrete cills.
Half-hipped artificial slate roof with modern rendered chimney rising from ridge to rear, and plastic rainwater goods. All walls are lined cement render.
Main entrance in a lean-to porch at right end of front (south-facing) elevation. Porch has artificial slate roof, rendered walls and door to left cheek. At ground floor left is a window. Two windows to first floor, in line with ground floor openings.
Right elevation is abutted bay a single storey return with half-hipped roof and rendered walls. Remaining portion of main wall is rendered with a single modern window at first floor right.
Left elevation has a window to each floor.
Rear elevation has a single modern window to ground floor left.
Historical information
Shown on 1835 OS map. Not cited in 1838 valuation as rated below £5. HMBB survey slide dated Nov 1969 shows a top half storey and a door at left on left elevation. All windows at that time were 2/2 sliding sashes in smaller openings (than now) with granite cills. The walls appear to have been lowered.
