The Department's description
Exterior description and setting
Left one of a pair of small two storey/ two bay houses at right, set in a longer terrace.
Pitched natural slate roof with shared chimney on party wall between the two. Modern rainwater goods with common down pipe.
Front elevation is cement rendered and painted with stepped render quoins to each side. Front door at ground floor left is panelled with a lozenge glazed transom over. There are three windows - one at ground floor right and two smaller ones to first floor. All have modern fixed lights with top-hung transoms and deep cills.
Left and right gables form party walls with the adjacent houses

Historical information
Although buildings are shown here on the 1834 Valuation town map, it is not until the 1861 map that the present house is shown. It is described in the Second Valuation book as measuring 5.5yds square by 2 storeys high, with a one-storey return.
