Historical information
A building is shown on the 1834 OS 6” map. However, it does not appear in the first Valuation (c.1835), indicating that its valuation was less than £5. It is probably the same building as currently exists. Original HMBB survey card states: “Pre 1834. A single storey cottage with harled walls and asbestos slated roof. Windows are double hung with sashes divided into two panes by vertical glazing bars. Rendered finish of gable is returned to frame front elevation. Windows and door surrounds are of plain render.”
