Historical information
A building is shown on the 1834 OS 6” map. However, it does not appear in the first Valuation (c.1835), indicating that its valuation was less than £5. It is probably the same building as currently exists.
The first HMBB survey card states: “A single storey cottage with harled walls and slated roof. Two D/H (double hung) windows, with sashes divided into two by single vertical g.b. (glazing bars), flank porch containing a sheeted entrance door.”
