The Department's description
Exterior description and setting
This is a two-storey/ two-bay farmhouse facing south. The roof is gabled and slated with a single central chimney (rendered stone with brick copping). Walls are dashed random granite rubble.
Entrance door is modern vertically sheeted with t-&-g boards. It is set into a projecting porch at right end of façade. This porch has a slate roof and recessed apex. There are two ground floor windows (one to each bay) with two in line above on the first floor. Windows have granite cills; only one 6/6 sliding sash frame survives (at bottom left). Both gables are blank.
There are two small casement windows to the rear ground floor elevation.
