Exterior description and setting
An Edward VII post-box made of cast iron set in the low rubble stone boundary wall of a garden attached to a house. Post-box inscribed 'ER VII' with a raised crown, and 'T. Allen & Co. London'; identified as post-box no BT62 26. The lid is broken.
SETTING: The wall in which the post-box is set stands facing onto a road junction in a rural area.

Manufactured by T. Allen & Co of London to a standard design in the period of the reign of King Edward VII (1901-1910).
