The Department's description
Exterior description and setting
A two-storey building in red brick with a Tudor-arched porch in stone containing a recessed doorway with Art Nouveau leaded glazing to the fanlight. Two-storey canted bays to each side of porch, with carriage gateway to the left hand side leading to the rear, containing original ledged timber gates of segmental profile.
Setting: the building stands in the main street of the town set back slightly from the pavement, with a paved area in front of it, and abutted on each side by gabled shop premises.
Historical information
Date of building not recorded but stylistically it appears to be originally a work of the early 1900s.

A house of probably Edwardian date which retains some original features characteristic of its era but which has been spoiled by later replacement fabric.
