The Department's description

A two-storey gabled house with a symmetrical three-bay entrance front. It comprises a gabled front block with a gabled return to one side at the rear and a hipped return to the other side. Asbestos slate roofs, replacements; dry dashed walls of pebbles not original; painted rendered dressings; central entrance recessed in rectangular surround not in original form; windows largely modern replacements in PVC , fixed lights with top-hung vents, with small panes, for original timber sliding sashes with horns. The house stands on its own grounds facing north, with a lawn and a concrete area in front of it, enclosed by a partly rendered rubble stone boundary wall with an entrance gateway of square dry dashed piers hung with a single steel gate of modern design.

Appears on the OS map of 1857.
