Exterior description and setting
Small, single arch, largely basalt rubble-constructed road bridge of perhaps c.1840, carrying the Loughdoo Road over a small stream. The bridge is located on the Loughdoo Road, roughly six miles S of Glenarm.
The bridge has a single small semicircular arch with roughly dressed voussoirs. To both sides of the structure there are low parapets with rough stone copings. The W face of the bridge is slightly battered.
Historical information
A bridge is shown on this site on the OS map of 1857, but not that of 1832.
