The Department's description
Exterior description and setting
Single arch road bridge of c.1920-25 in squared basalt rubble, carrying the Drumcrow Road over the Linford Water. The bridge is located at a sharp bend in the road, roughly 5.5 miles S of Glenarm.
The bridge has a tall single arch with semicircular head and rusticated voussoirs. There are battered abutments to both faces either side of the arch, as well as a string course at road level. There are low parapets with rough coping to that to S and concrete coping to that to N.
Historical information
A bridge is not shown on the OS map of 1905, but does appear on that of 1933.
