Exterior description and setting
Former direct entry thatched cottage with associated outbuildings. Thatch collapsed in on house. Remains of truss and some thatch visible. Small window in south west gable of wallstead lighting former roof space. Door gone. Remains of three windows into the two roomed cottage. No bed outshot or windows to rear. Small barn downhill. Run of barns perpendicular to the house to the north east. These are on flat ground at the base of a cliff. The house is parallel to the approach road. Walls are in basalt with no trace of the former white wash.

Recorded in the first survey of 1970 as thatched, appears on the 1831 Ordnance Survey Map.
