The Department's description

Single storey primary School of interlocking blocks with flat roofs and mono pitches, forming an interesting composition when viewed across the flat fields from Seacoast Road. On closer inspection the apparent drama of the group disolves into a collection of more functional spaces all finished in rough cast render.

Historic Buildings Records suggest that the architect was N E Campbell, County Education Architect in the 1950s and that the building dates from circa 1960.
