Exterior description and setting
A single storey rubble built stone building with pitched and gabled roof to Victoria Road which becomes three storey to the goods yard where it is clad in corrugated iron sheets secured to structural frame behind. On the north east gable cladding returns approximately one third of width while on the south west gable it is fully returned. The south east facade is seven openings long with central narrow doorway with five no. steps and three windows on either side, all openings with segmental heads, toothed brick surrounds, metal gutters and downpipes, with a frieze under gutter made up of vertical timber sheeting with bottom edge serrated. Windows sliding sash with four panes. Sandstone quoins and red brick chimneys. North west elevation of corrugated sheeting punctuated with pairs of tall windows on two levels and filled with leaded glazing.
Part of the Donegal Railway complex fronting onto Victoria Road and situated to the south of the buildings recorded as HB01/11/005A, B and C. Set back from Victoria Road where the goods access roadway sweeps past to negotiate the level difference to the goods yard below. The building is single storey to Victoria Road and three storey to the goods yard.

See HB01/11/005A. Presumed contemporary with other buildings of the railway complex though built of more economical materials.It is possible that the corrugated sheeted part is later Dating from the time when the building was extended.
